TrueSign

Cryptographic intent bound authorization. USPTO 19/644,477.

A cryptographic intent bound authorization platform replacing one time passwords and traditional multi factor authentication for high value transaction authorization in regulated institutions. Patent pending, USPTO Application No. 19/644,477. Sole inventor: Charles Cohen. Built and commercialized by Data World 1, LLC.

02 · WHAT IT IS

Signed by the device.
Bound to the intent.

TrueSign replaces one time passwords with hardware bound cryptographic approvals, bound to the device, the transaction, and the policy. Every authorization is signed inside the user's own secure execution environment over a canonical intent message that encodes exactly what is being authorized.

Any modification of any parameter (amount, recipient, or policy condition) produces a different byte sequence and invalidates the existing signature. Authorized push payment fraud, SIM swap attacks, and real time relay attacks are eliminated as a mathematical property of the protocol, not a behavioural control.

03PROTOCOL PILLARS

Three guarantees, mathematically enforced.

Device bound

Signing keys live in the user's secure enclave. They never leave the device and cannot be replayed from another origin.

Intent bound

Each signature commits to a canonical message of exactly what is being authorized (amount, recipient, policy condition).

Policy bound

Institutional policy is encoded in the signed message. Modifying any clause invalidates the signature.

04 · TRANSACTION FLOW

From intent to settlement, in one signed message.

  1. 1Institution composes a canonical intent message describing the transaction and policy.
  2. 2User's device signs the message inside its secure execution environment.
  3. 3The institution verifies the signature against the original intent before settlement.
